What is Ko-fi?
Ko-fi is a UK-based creator support platform. No account is required to tip — you can donate or subscribe in a few clicks with credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, so your card details never reach Miramiru.
Linking Your Account
When you support via Ko-fi, your Miramiru account is auto-linked through one of these 3 methods. Method ① is the easiest and most reliable.

Same email on Ko-fi
Just use the same email address on Ko-fi that you use on Miramiru. Your badge applies instantly upon support.

Write "@yourusername" in the Ko-fi message field. Works even if you use different emails on each site.

Ko-fi Transaction ID
If neither ① nor ② links your account, open the "View your Ko-fi" or "Manage your payment" link from your Ko-fi receipt email. The URL contains `?txid=XXXX-XXXX-...` — that UUID is your Transaction ID. Paste it into the settings page (within 60 days of the support).

All of Miramiru's features are free to use, but operating the site comes with ongoing monthly costs for servers, the database, and image storage. On top of that, syncing equipment data from XIVAPI, building new features, maintaining three-language support, and day-to-day moderation all take a meaningful amount of time.

How Funds Are Used
Donations go toward server costs (Supabase Pro / Vercel Pro / domain), data sync, and development. A rough breakdown will be published quarterly.
